10.30 Arrival
11 a.m. Assembly in Camp.
1.10 a.m. Roving a purely Longbow discipline. Appropriate, other bow types may be allowed to shoot but shall not be included in scoring/awards. Wooden arrows only, bodkins and broad heads accepted. Roving at mixed length marks as directed. Return to Camp for 1 p.m.
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Roundhouse and covered picnic area in Camp. Tea, coffee etc and hog roast, jacket potatoes and vegetarian broth available.
2 p.m. Wand Shoot Longbow and AFB. 6” wide 6’ wands with scoring circle at base set at 120 and 100 yards, 60 yards for cubs. 3 dozen arrows, no sighters. Followed by roving, time permitting, to 4 p.m.
4:00 Finish Roving and return to Chieftain Roundhouse
4:15 p.m. in the Camp. Ladies, gentlemen and juniors according to entry.
Pre pay, pre book. Adults £7, juniors £3.50. Fee non refundable unless event cancelled. Entry limited. Entrants agree to abide by the criterion and rules of the event by entering.
Card carrying archers only, memberships accepted from NFAS, GNAS, EFAA, BLBS. Archers will be asked to produce cards on the day.
Juniors and cubs must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We shall be Roving over undulating terrain, please dress appropriately.
This is a Longbow discipline but one piece, wooden American Flatbows will be admitted.
Wooden arrows only, bodkins and broadheads accepted.
Numbers are limited so pre-book and pre-pay only.
